Shastram

Dedicated to providing a modern interface and increasing accessibility for Advaita Vedantic scripture.

Vision

Most scripture reader sites are cluttered, unintuitive, or unclear about content rights. Shastram aims to change that with a modern, ad-free platform focused on legal, accessible scripture and study tools. All material currently hosted on the site is public domain.

We welcome all the help we can get. This mainly involves improving our codebase or text database. At the moment, Shastram does not need funding to operate, so the most useful help is expanding the site’s coverage. If you are connected with a teacher, scholar, institution, or organization that would like us to host their translations, media, or other study materials, please contact us by email.
